The Air Cadets visited us too!

During the summer, twenty three air cadets from 59 (Huddersfield) Squadron spent five days with us canoeing, raft building, caving and climbing – a good time was had by all!

The activities we like best!

‘The leap of faith definitely – it was awesome! I liked the canoeing too. Rock climbing particularly when Andy our instructor started singing and the rain came down – It stopped raining when he stopped singing!!!!!’ so say Year 6 children from Branton St Wilfreds Primary School in Doncaster about their visit this week

Did you know…..

The artist JMW Turner visited Marrick Priory in 1816 on his way to Richmond – He sketched the Priory from the east and his sketches and paintings can still be viewed today – so if you are in the area during August, call in when you see our sign that we are open to the public and see the views that inspired Turner all those years ago!
